People ask me on a regular basis what’s more secure. Wooden doors, metal and wood composite doors or uPVC?

The short answer is ‘none of them’ – the style of door, the material is made out of is irrelevant. It’s all about the locking mechanism!

The locks,and the mechanisms are what make the doors secure. Unfortunately the factory fitted standard locks are not usually up to much – so you’re better sometimes fitting additional security – and here at Locksmiths Leeds we can provide you with the additional security ideas you need.
